Java Expert
Yeah, “expert”: you have to be really good to work here. You will be expected to learn new subject matters, and then design and build the right software to solve the problem. You must be able to clearly and concisely communicate with non-technical clients and to know how to use design patterns and other idioms with the rest of the development team.
If the following sounds like you, we need to talk:
- Experience with J2EE using Stripes, Struts, and Spring
- Demonstrated appropriate use of design patterns
- JavaScript and UI programming chops
- Participation in open source programming projects
- Experience in accounting or finance
- Prefer working on a team to flying solo, and aren’t afraid to talk to users and other non-technical folks
We are an agile, continuous integration environment; we run 2 week iterations to production. You should be experienced in such an environment.
